Privacy Policy

Effective: July 27, 2026 · WildFeed. The short version: we collect what the product needs, we don't sell it, and your exact location is never part of the deal.

What we collect

Account: email, username, display name (Google sign-in shares your name, email, and avatar). Usage: which streams you watch and for how long — this powers your personalized feed. Content: your streams, recordings, chat messages, gear listings, and reports you file. Diagnostics: error reports with browser info. Location: only if you allow it, and only when you go live. Your phone’s reading is snapped to a shared ~8 mile area before it leaves the app, so the exact spot never reaches us at all — we store that area and the county it sits in, nothing finer. Decline and your stream simply has no map pin.

How we use it

To run the service, rank and personalize feeds, pay creators, keep the platform safe and legal, and fix bugs. We do not sell personal information and do not run third-party ad tracking.

Who touches it (processors)

Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (video), Google (optional sign-in), Stripe (payouts), and an email delivery provider. Each receives only what their function requires.

Your controls

Edit profile data in-app. Delete your account yourself at wildfeed.live/delete-account, or request export or deletion at privacy@wildfeed.live — deletion removes personal data within 30 days except records we must keep (payments, legal holds). Chat and streams you shared publicly may persist in others' recordings of the public moment.

Retention & security

Watch-affinity scores decay automatically. Presence heartbeats are deleted within minutes. Error logs are pruned on a rolling basis. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our processors; access is role-restricted.

Children

WildFeed accounts require users to be 13+ (COPPA). Youth hunters and anglers who can legally hunt or fish may create accounts and livestream. Payouts require 18+ and Stripe identity verification. Minors may appear on a parent's or guardian's stream but may never hold an account or receive payouts. We delete underage accounts on discovery.
