🚀 What's new

We ship every day. Tell us what to build — ☰ menu → Tell us anything — and watch it show up here with your name on the idea.

🔧 Viewer counts are real now

You asked

The "watching" number was stuck at zero because heartbeats were recorded but never counted. Every viewer ping now recomputes the live count and it updates on-screen in real time for everyone watching.

"the streamers viewer count says zero even when there are viewers"

🔧 No more black frame on shared links

You asked

Some phones (iOS Low Power Mode, Android Data Saver) refuse to auto-start even muted video. Instead of a silent black screen, you now get a big ▶ — one tap and the stream plays.

"when a viewer clicks a link shared of a streamer the video is not auto playing"

Your Google photo follows you in

You asked

Sign in with Google and your profile picture and name come with you — including everyone who joined before this shipped. Nobody starts as a gray circle.

"Can we show Google signed in users Google profile pic?"

🚀 WildFeed has a face: the Beacon W

You asked

Our new mark is a bold W whose last stroke rises like an antenna to a blaze record light — the wild, going live. It's live as the app icon, favicon, share image, and it's ready for both app stores. Built as code, so it renders pixel-perfect at every size from a favicon to a billboard.

"make me a billion dollar quality logo"

🚀 Find your people

You asked

Creators can now pick up to 3 interests — what they love to stream — on their profile. Those show as tappable badges on their page, and every category page now has a creator browse rail: the hunters, anglers, and cooks who live there, followable in one tap so your phone buzzes when they go live. Founding creators sort first.

"streamers set their primary interests... so viewers can browse and we can intelligently connect people with like content desires"

A menu that knows who you are

You asked

Your avatar is now the account button, and the menu tailors itself: viewers get a clean watching menu with one "Become a creator" invite; creators get their command row — Your page, Dashboard, Earnings — the moment they first go live. No settings, no toggle: streaming is the switch.

"set their profile to one of two types streamer/viewer... so the hamburger menu items are tailored correctly"

🚀 🏕 The Founding 100

You asked

The first 100 creators to go live on WildFeed get founding status automatically: 100% of tips through Labor Day, a lifetime rate lock, a numbered permanent badge, homepage priority all launch season, a direct line to the founder, and first access to everything new. The counter is live on the creators page — no forms, no codes, your first broadcast claims your number.

"recruit our initial creators by locking them into some sort of special deal or access for first 100 streamers"

🚀 🎙 The creator pitch, on one page

wildfeed.live/creators — the whole deal in one link: 80% of tips, 50% of gear sales (or 100% of Amazon commissions with your own tag), one-tap live from your phone, scheduling, push alerts, DMs, replays, and the $100 Clip of the Week. Send it to a hunter you know.

⏰ "Starting soon" alerts

Follow a creator with a scheduled stream and your phone buzzes ~15 minutes before it kicks off — enough time to grab a seat, not enough to forget.

🚀 Push notifications: live alerts + DMs

You asked

Turn on notifications (☰ menu or the 🔔 in Messages) and your phone buzzes the moment a creator you follow goes live — and when someone DMs you. iPhone: add WildFeed to your Home Screen first.

"can users/viewers subscribe or somehow click to be notified when that user goes live again"

🚀 Schedule your streams

You asked

Creators can announce "going live Saturday 6am" from the dashboard. Events show on the home page ("Coming up") and your creator page, in each viewer's own timezone with a countdown. Follow the creator and you're pushed the second it actually starts.

"live streamers need to be able to schedule a livestream so viewers can see upcoming events"

DMs: sturdier under bad signal

You asked

A failed send now puts your message back in the box instead of eating it, and you can long-press your own message to delete it for both sides.

"is the user to user messaging as robust as any major platform? i want to keep it insanely simple"

🚀 🔔 Notifications that reach your lock screen

You asked

Turn on notifications from the ☰ menu or the Messages panel. You'll get a push when a creator you follow goes live and when someone messages you — even with WildFeed closed. iPhone: add WildFeed to your Home Screen first (Share → Add to Home Screen).

"the one real gap: push notifications when the app's closed → "now""

🚀 Messages — chat with people you follow

You asked

People who follow each other can now message directly: tap 💬 on someone's page or the bubble in the corner. Block and report built into every conversation.

"Let people who follow each other chat with each other"

🚀 Creator storefronts

You asked

Paste any Amazon link on your dashboard and we pull the name, brand, and photo automatically. Pin your hero item, reorder, and share one storefront link in every bio. Connect your own Associates tag to keep 100% of Amazon's commission.

"Creators should pick their favorite gear and everyone shares in it"

Post-stream: a "do nothing" exit

You asked

Ending a stream now offers a quiet way out — discard the replay and just see your recap.

"Need an option that says do nothing"

🔧 Skip-upload now responds instantly

You asked

Cancelling a replay upload mid-flight aborts immediately instead of waiting out the current chunk on slow signal.

"Skip don't post doesn't seem to work"

Cleaner corners

Feedback moved into the ☰ menu ("Tell us anything") so the corner belongs to Messages. Menu moved to the far right.

🚀 Broadcast-quality mobile rail (native apps)

The upcoming iOS/Android apps can stream through the hardware encoder: screen off, smoother on weak signal, replay saved automatically in the cloud.
